The project's heroes wanted minimalism without losing comfort, an abundance of free space and thoughtful storage solutions. At the same time, it was important to take into account the needs of a large family: the ability to accommodate guests, a comfortable place for grandfather to relax and practical furniture that would easily cope with the challenges of everyday life.
Request and dreams of the heroes
Designer Anna Ayond, founder of the AYOND interiors studio, faced an interesting task - to create a space that would combine functionality, comfort and aesthetics. The heroes of the project wanted minimalism without losing comfort, with an abundance of free space and a thoughtful solution for storing things. At the same time, it was important to take into account the needs of a large family: the ability to accommodate guests, a comfortable place for grandfather to relax and practical furniture that would easily cope with the challenges of everyday life.
Inspiration from the elements of nature
The main style-forming element of the interior was the reed, symbolizing the heroes' proximity to the water element. The family spends a lot of time on the lake near the dacha, and next to the city house there is a pond where children like to walk. This image is in a wall panel created using gypsum 3D panels M-40 from Deco Line. Gypsum panels with a relief of intertwined shoots became an expressive accent in the wall niche, giving the space a sense of lightness and natural harmony. Thanks to the backlight, the relief acquires additional depth and dynamics.
Installation of panels
Each panel was carefully fixed with a gypsum mixture similar in composition to the material of the elements themselves. Thanks to this, it was possible to create a monolithic surface without visible joints and transitions. Careful work on alignment and adjustment ensured an impressive final result, which became the key accent of the space.
Author's concept of the designer
The project under the author's concept of the designer Anna Ayond harmoniously combines minimalism and functionality. The living room space is thought out to the smallest detail:
- A wall panel made of gypsum 3D panels, reminiscent of reed beds, creates a harmonious feeling of connection with nature.
- A large beige sofa, which folds out into a full double bed, has become a comfortable place to relax.
- Ottomans of a natural grassy shade and a bright couch in a rich shade between fuchsia and purple add coziness and liveliness to the interior.
- A tabletop along the entire wall under a huge TV provides convenient storage space thanks to numerous hidden cabinets.
- The lighting solution allows you to vary the level of lighting from bright to subdued.
- A cozy carpet, reminiscent of a water surface under raindrops, pleasantly complements the atmosphere of the living room.
The project became the embodiment of harmony of natural motifs and modern design solutions. The space inspired by the water element gave the family not only comfort and beauty, but also a sense of unity with nature. The combination of minimalism, thoughtful functionality and warm family details allowed to create a cozy place where everyone will find their own space for relaxation and inspiration.
We are proud to participate in the creation of this unique interior and are grateful for the opportunity to become a part of someone's home history. We hope that such projects will inspire the creation of new cozy corners for family happiness.
