ABOUT THE SIRIUS CONCERT HALL PROJECT
An ambitious project to build the SIRIUS Concert Complex of international class, which began in 2020, is being implemented at the federal level. The SIRIUS halls, which are intended to become the heart of the cultural infrastructure of the region, are already attracting the close attention of famous performers, youth groups and connoisseurs of musical art.
The exterior of the SIRIUS complex building is inspired by the natural forms of the Black Sea Mountains. The author of the project, Andrey Litvinov, sought to harmoniously integrate the structure into the surrounding landscape. The grandiose architectural ensemble of SIRIUS halls is located in the Park of Science and Art. Leading experts in the field of architecture and engineering worked on the project, creating a unique combination of form and functionality. The total area of the SIRIUS hall will exceed 48.9 square meters, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy performances in two concert halls: the Main Hall with a capacity of about 1,200 spectators and the Chamber Hall with more than 500 seats.
One of the key features of the SIRIUS complex is a specially designed acoustic system that allows for the ideal transmission of a sound signal. The famous Japanese specialist Yasuhisa Toyota, who has experience in designing dozens of concert and theater venues around the world, was responsible for developing the acoustic concept. Particular attention was paid to creating conditions for the SIRIUS chamber hall, where the nuances of sound reproduction are especially important.

DECO LINE'S PARTICIPATION IN THE FINISHING OF THE SIRIUS COMPLEX
The interior finishing materials of the SIRIUS halls were carefully selected to achieve optimal acoustic characteristics. According to the idea of the Chief Architect of the project Andrey Litvinov, the walls and ceilings of the concert halls are finished with 3D panels that meet strict requirements not only for acoustics, but also for safety.
Our company DECO LINE manufactured, supplied and installed 3D panels for the Main and Chamber Halls of the SIRIUS complex according to an individual, unique design and with special acoustic characteristics. We are proud that the implementation of a large section of work on such a large-scale project was entrusted to our company, as a manufacturer that meets all the necessary requirements:
• Own production facilities;
• Experience working with large customers;
• Possibility to manufacture products according to an individual design;
• Use of gypsum panels in production as a non-flammable and environmentally friendly material, safe for finishing public spaces;
• Possibility to manufacture 3D panels that meet precise acoustic characteristics.
SIRIUS HALL ACOUSTICS CHECK AND SPECIALISTS' ASSESSMENT
We were anxiously awaiting this day as an exam for us and for the entire team of acoustic engineers and builders who worked on the SIRIUS complex project. The geometric design of the interior serves as a tool for fine-tuning the sound environment. Each outline of the surface of the walls with 3D panels, ceilings and the texture of the materials were chosen in such a way as to create an ideal sound balance.
The rehearsal in SIRIUS, the halls of which are being prepared for the imminent opening, was held by the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Valery Gergiev. It is fundamentally important for the master to understand how the audience perceives musical instruments in the space of the hall, at any point. Among the performers at the rehearsal in the SIRIUS hall were soloists, including violinist Pavel Milyukov. Architects, acoustic engineers and media representatives took part in the event.
"This is a theater and concert complex, which, according to my first impressions, has already received two very good concert halls and a theater. But its acoustic qualities not only pleased us, but even surprised us in some ways... The theater surprised us with the fact that the acoustics are very good for symphonic programs," Gergiev told journalists.
According to Gergiev, the acoustics of the SIRIUS halls amaze with their precision and clarity of sound, surpassing many world analogues. He expressed confidence that the new hall will become one of the best venues in the world for performing classical music.
The official opening of the SIRIUS Concert and Theatre Complex is expected in the fall of 2025, promising to become a significant event in the cultural life of Russia.
