On September 19, 2025, we held a live broadcast on the topic: "How to integrate a plaster bas-relief into a design project," where we addressed the most frequently asked questions from our clients.
Gypsum panels and bas-reliefs are at the peak of popularity today. And receiving feedback from our customers and visitors to our showroom, we've realized the following:
- Many designers aren't fully aware of the potential of using bas-reliefs and 3D panels in interior design.
- They mistakenly believe that bas-reliefs require complex installation and expensive delivery.
- They face questions about how to properly integrate bas-reliefs and 3D panels into a project from a technical standpoint.
During a live broadcast, DECO LINE Sales Manager Ivetta Borisova covered all these points in detail. The broadcast attracted an audience of interior designers, contractors, and anyone interested in contemporary applied art. You can watch the recording of the broadcast at the link: https://vkvideo.ru/video-101661897_456239138?t=41m23s
The main topics discussed during the live broadcast were the components of the order price and the stages of project implementation.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A GYPSUM BAS-RELIEF AND 3D GYPSUM PANELS
The order price is made up of five key components:
- Products (panels and bas-reliefs)
- Lighting and decor
- Consumables
- Delivery and packaging
- Installation work
The speaker discussed in detail some of the differences in how the cost of 3D panels and bas-reliefs is calculated. For example, with gypsum panels, the price is calculated per piece, while with a gypsum bas-relief, the cost is calculated per square meter.
Backlighting was a particularly interesting topic for discussion. Without a doubt, properly designed lighting for a wall panel guarantees 50% of the effect. It's no coincidence that almost all product renderings presented on our website feature backlighting. During the online meeting, we detailed and demonstrated examples of various installation methods for accent wall lighting: contour lighting, niches with light profiles, and spotlights.
Detailed recommendations for backlighting 3D panels and plaster bas-reliefs can be found in our article.

In her presentation, the speaker also touched on the important topic of the technology and installation process for 3D gypsum panels and bas-reliefs. Their cost is influenced by several factors, such as the quantity of required consumables (primer, gypsum putty and finish, paint), the remoteness of the location, the complexity and scope of the project, etc.
One of the most frequently asked questions is how large bas-reliefs are delivered. In one piece? Of course not. The bas-relief arrives in 590 x 590 mm segments and is assembled into a single piece on-site.
GUEST EXPERT
Designer Karina Gabrielyan (https://t.me/karinacolor) was our guest on the live broadcast. She shared her impressions of working with our bas-reliefs and discussed the nuances to consider when designing and installing plaster wall panels. Karina based her presentation on her completed apartment interior design project in the Reka residential complex in Moscow.
PRIZE DRAW AMONG PARTICIPANTS
At the end of the meeting, the speakers answered questions from the audience. As announced, the most interesting question would win a subscription to ZEELPROJECT! This digital platform provides designers with over a thousand 3D models of furniture, lighting, textures, and artwork from renowned manufacturers. The speakers found the most interesting question to be about transporting plaster bas-reliefs.
We thank all the guests and speakers for the engaging discussions and sharing of experiences.
